Introduction
Each Organization in Jitra has a Share Code that other Organizations can use to find your Organization when creating a share. You can view your Share Code from Share → Shared With Us in the My Share Code section.Viewing My Share Code
Open Share → Shared With Us and find My Share Code. The Share Code shown there belongs to your Organization.Sharing Your Share Code with Another Organization
If another Organization wants to share resources with you, provide them with your Organization’s Share Code. They can enter the code when creating a share from My Shares. A Share Code is only used to find the destination Organization. Sharing your code does not automatically give anyone access to your resources. An invitation still needs to be created and accepted before the share becomes active.Copying Your Share Code
In the My Share Code section, click Copy. The Share Code is copied and can then be sent to the Organization that wants to share resources with you.Regenerating Your Share Code
If you no longer want the current Share Code to be used to find your Organization, select Regenerate Code. Jitra asks for confirmation before generating a new Share Code. Once confirmed, your Organization receives a new code and the previous code can no longer be used for new Organization lookups.What Happens After You Regenerate the Share Code?
Regenerating the Share Code only changes the code used to find your Organization for future shares. It does not stop existing active shares. Shares with the Accepted status continue to work as before. Invitations that were already created before the Share Code was regenerated also remain valid.When Should You Regenerate Your Share Code?
You do not need to regenerate your Share Code regularly. Consider regenerating it when:- the previous code was shared with someone who no longer needs it
- you want to prevent the old code from being used for new Organization lookups
- you want to replace the code as part of your internal access management process
