Introduction

If your Organization no longer needs resources shared by another Organization, you can revoke the sharing connection from Shared With Us. Revoking the share removes your Organization’s access to all resources provided through that connection. The original resources remain with the owning Organization and are not deleted.

Revoking a Share

Open Share → Shared With Us, then find a share with the Accepted status.

1. Open the Share Menu

Open the menu on the share you want to stop, then select Revoke.

2. Confirm the Revoke Action

Review the Organization that shared the resources, then confirm the revoke action.

3. Share Revoked

Once confirmed, the sharing connection is no longer active. Your Organization loses access to all Objects, Geofences, Sites, and Routes provided through that share.

What Happens to User Access?

If shared resources were previously assigned to users in your Organization, those assignments no longer provide access after the share is revoked. You do not need to remove each user assignment manually.

What Happens to the Resources?

Revoking a share only removes your Organization’s access. The shared resources:
  • are not deleted
  • are not transferred
  • remain owned by the Organization that shared them

Sharing Again After a Revoke

Once a share is revoked, the previous connection cannot be reused. If both Organizations want to share resources again, the owning Organization needs to create a new invitation from My Shares and your Organization needs to accept it.

Revoke Is Different from Removing Shared Resources

If the owning Organization removes some or all resources from a share, the connection can remain Accepted. Revoke is different because it ends the entire Organization Sharing connection.
